What is NOENE®
NOENE® is a type of elastomer that, thanks to its internal hexagonal lattice structure and special composition, has special characteristics that differentiate it from traditional elastomers.
The main property of NOENE® material is its viscoelasticity, which makes it an excellent SHOCK ABSORBER acting as a filter between footwear or equipment, that is able to absorb and disperse the negative energy of impacts.
Thanks to the selection and combination of different elements involved, through a long and complex manufacturing process, a material with extraordinary performance is born, in which specifications and design play a fundamental role in the performance of the application.
NOENE® Technology
Even though materials such as GEL and its derivatives have good softness and cushioning characteristics, often the feeling of comfort and ‘wow’ factor is only instantaneous and the protection from shock and vibration ends in a very short time. Soft materials, when they reach their maximum compression or crushing, behave as if they were rigid.
NOENE® is unaffected by the force of the impact and weight and ensures protection for the entire life of the product.
NOENE® ABSORBS and DISPERSES shocks and vibrations
The Drop Test or “Ball Test” explains in two simple steps the extraordinary absorption and removal capacity of the material.
NOENE® acts effectively as a filter with every shock, counteracting the vibrating effect generated by the impact, thanks to the presence of crystalline micro-cells of hexagonal shape included inside the elastomer, which disperses in proportion to the exerted released (action) while avoiding at the same time the return of negative energy (reaction) usually generated by other materials.
